SWEAT Southsea offers bespoke studio classes with capacities of between just eight and twelve participants. Passionate and knowledgable instructors and a fun, welcoming environment make SWEAT the number one destination for group fitness classes. 

Many of our customers mix and match classes providing them with variety through the week and many choose to mix our classes with our personal training services. Either way, we're confident of providing you with the fastest routes to achieving your fitness goals. Our classes are available on a pay-as-you-go basis, or alternatively with SWEAT Benefits, classes can be purchased in weekly 3 for £20 bundles.


Please note that booking is required in advance and that we operate a 12 hour cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to charge you for a late cancellation should you be unable to notify us within the 12 hours.

We keep our class sizes small and this policy enables us to ensure spaces don’t go to waste. Thank you for your understanding.


HIIT + CORE

SWEAT Southsea delivers High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) at its best. 

An intense total body workout, this is an explosive class designed to get you fitter faster. The class places an emphasis on core strengthening and improving athletic performance.

BARRE

A workout designed to stretch, strengthen and condition.

Specialists Abbie and Lily carefully craft sessions that will challenge and exhilarate in equal measure. Get ready to feel the burn!

 No experience is necessary, and beginners are always welcome!

PILATES

SWEAT Southsea's Pilates classes are delivered by resident STOTT Pilates instructor Amanda Miller.

STOTT offers a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. The founders of STOTT Pilates worked with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, spending over two decades refining the now acclaimed method. All of its movements are underpinned by the five basic principles which are based in modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and most effective exercise methods available. This method of Pilates uses very targeted exercises to create a holistic workout, that requires the full attention of body and mind.

KETTLEBELLS

Centuries old, the origin and history of the kettlebell is widely debated, but the effectiveness of an expertly designed kettlebell workout remains indisputable.

SWEAT Southsea's kettlebell classes taken by fully trained instructors and with a capacity of just eight participants offer a safe and highly effective environment for a free-weight based class.

Sessions are demanding and offer a total body workout. Beginners always welcome.

CIRCUITS

A functional workout at its best, SWEAT's Circuits classes take place in the functional training zone so expect battle ropes, box jumps, and a whole range of weighted and body-weight exercises. Quality technique and self-progression is the focus.

SWEAT Outdoors

This isn't your usual 'bootcamp'. We are proud of delivering excellent supervision and guidance from fully qualified Personal Trainers and every week brings something different. We encourage everyone to work as hard as they individually can. Sessions are tailored so that beginners are always welcome and everybody, regardless of fitness levels will work to their maximum.

SWEAT Outdoors are fun and relaxed sessions. Bibs are not provided and we'll even learn your name!
